The small town of Di Bolzena lies to the north of Rome. A place once filled with potters, it was home to Robert Rosso, renowned Italian potter. Taking inspiration from Greek Designs, Rosso created a pot with a distinctive clay pearling top, which was popular throughout the 1800’s. Clay pearling along The Helena pot’s top edge gives this pot a soft and classic look.
Bergs Potter creates quality clay pots, using superior clay that holds in moisture, and provides drainage for roots to breathe. Every pot and saucer is made from the best quality Italian terracotta clay, high-fired for frost resistance and indoor-outdoor durability. Handmade in Northern Italy.
Bergs planters capture the simplicity of Danish design, drawing inspiration from time-tested antique styles. With time and handling, the terracotta will develop a weathered patina. A mild vinegar solution can be used to polish your pot and restore its natural beauty.
